Iran actors to go to World Cup

Iran actors Zendegani and Abdolrazzaqi are to narrate the journey of Iran national football team to Russia World Cup.

The actor couple Amin Zendegani and Elika Abdolrazzaqi are to join the Iranian national football team for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The thespians will be narrators of a documentary dubbed 'Champions Symphony' directed by Yousef Taherian.

Elika Abdolrazzaqi has taken part in several telefilms, such as 'Men of Earth' (2011) and 'The Sky Isn't Always Cloudy' (2013).

She has also appeared in various TV series, including 'Missing' (1998), 'Mozaffar’s Garden' (2006), 'The Forbidden Fruit' (2007), 'The Man of a Thousand Faces' (2007), 'Bitter Coffee' (2010), 'Made in Iran' (2011), 'My Villa' (2012), 'Mozaffar’s Treasure' (2013) and 'Look Back Sometimes' (2015).

The actress has taken several roles in movies as well, including 'A Place to Live' (2003), 'The Magical Generation' (2006) , 'Morning’s Child' (2008) and 'Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus' (2012).

The Iranian actress is married to the popular TV and cinema actor Amin Zendegani.

Zendegani was born in a family of artists and musicians and began his artistic activities in 1991 when he entered the University of Tehran, Faculty of Fine Arts.

After gaining four years of experience in stage acting, he made his small screen debut with ‘Young Lawyers’ (1995).

He appeared in the movies ‘Eastern Woman’ (1997), ‘The Actor’ (1998), ‘The Kingdom of Solomon the Prophet’ (2008), ‘Path to Heaven’ (2011), ‘Octopus’ (2011) and ‘Oblivion Season’ (2013).

Zendegani has also played in the series ‘Days of Youth’ (1998), ‘Lost Innocence’ (2003), ‘Spellbound’ (2003) and ‘Mokhtar Rise’ (2003).
